On the heels of recognizing hundreds of employees during Classified School Employee Week, we turn our attention to recruiting for additional members of the teams who work in essential, often unseen roles across the district. Join us for two upcoming hiring events that will connect job seekers directly with employment opportunities in EUSD.

Our Human Resources team will be guiding individuals through the application process for positions as paraeducators, nutritional assistants, noontime supervisors, and custodial staff at hiring fairs on Monday, May 23, and Wednesday, May 25. Find all the details and register for the events on Eventbrite. The paraeducator event is May 23 at Central Elementary School. The nutrition and custodial services hiring event is May 25 at Lincoln Elementary School. Noontime supervisor candidates are encouraged to attend either event between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Advance registration is not required. We look forward to welcoming community members to the EUSD staff!

Memorial Day: EUSD schools and the district office will be closed on Monday, May 30, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Classes resume Tuesday, May 31.

Here are this week’s updates and reminders.
