Mark your calendars! Back to School Night at Conway will be on Thursday, August 24th from 5pm - 7pm. Join us to officially inaugurate our school as Conway Academy of Expeditionary Learning at our ribbon cutting ceremony in front of the school at 5 pm. The purpose of Back to School Night is to inform families of curriculum, school programs, schedules, and create a partnership between home and school. This is an adult only event, so please make arrangements for your student(s) as we will not have supervision on campus for students. TK and Kindergarten information was shared at our “TK/K Meet and Greet” evening event but families are welcome to meet support staff and hear the Principal’s Welcome in the MPR. Please be advised that parking will be a challenge and we ask that we are all good neighbors and park in the designated areas. We look forward to seeing every family on the evening of August 24th, 2023.

Join us for our first College & Crew Celebration of the 2023-2024 school year! Thursday, August 17 at 8 am on the blacktop. College & Crew Celebrations are an opportunity for the school and families to unite and celebrate together our EPIC Conway community accomplishments and so much more! Families are welcome to attend. We simply ask you to please exit the school campus as soon as the celebration is over. We encourage students, staff and families to show their school spirit by wearing their blue Conway shirt. If you don't have a blue Conway shirt, don't worry! Feel free to wear any blue clothing. See you there!

Gates open at 7:35 am for breakfast 7:45am Bell rings and signals release to blacktop 7:55am Students line-up on blacktop lines TK/K will continue to follow their established protocol for drop-off in the kinder playground Parents are welcome to walk to blacktop classroom lines this week only Starting next week, parents will be asked to say their good-byes at the gate Every Thursday, we will invite parents to our Conway Crew Celebration assembly at 8am.

Making it an EPIC year! We are crew, not passengers.

This week, your student will be sent home with a Student Pick Up tag with their name written on it. During student pick up, parents in vehicles will be directed to line up their vehicles along the white curb. Conway teachers and staff will be looking for these student tags to call up students (1st to 6th grade only) up to parent vehicles. Hang the tag on the rearview mirror facing forward, ready for the Conway staff member to call out for the student. Please review Principal Meglich's earlier post regarding pick up and drop off to view the map.

Safety first! Please review drop-off and pick-up procedures. 1s - 6th grade grass line up at the front of the school. TK & K drop-off and pick-up in tk/k playground. Don not park or leave vehicle at the front of the school. Parking lot # 1 - Student drop off and pick up not allowed in the parking lot. Parking lot will close for 15 minutes during dismissal. Do not block crosswalks. Please be respectful of neighbors. Do not park or block our neighbors driveways. No left turn from Hollyhock during dismissal. The safety and security of our students is of utmost importance.

We are so excited to meet the newest members of our Conway Crew at our TK & Kinder Meet and Greet later today. As a reminder, our Kindergarten Crew will have 2 sessions for families to attend. 1st session will begin at 4 pm. 2nd session will begin at 5 pm. See you soon!

Classroom lists will be available by end of day Monday. Please be sure to register your student in order to see them on their teacher list. ALL RETURNING STUDENTS must be registered before they can be added to a classroom list. Classroom lists will be posted outside of the school office by 9:00am on Monday, August 14th, and will also be viewable in the parent PowerSchool account as well as the EUSD Rooms app. The EUSD Rooms app is available for download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Our front office staff would like to inform you that the Conway office will be CLOSED Wednesday, August 9th from 7:30 am - 11:00 am (Staff Meeting) and Friday, August 11th from 7:30 am - 1:30 pm (EUSD Event) As a reminder, regular office hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Attention TK & Kinder families! On behalf of the TK & Kinder Crew, we would like to invite you to our annual TK & Kinder Meet and Greet at Conway.
