All schools are open today. We will continue to monitor the weather and power outages if and when they occur.
Last Friday, our school's PTA hosted their Winter Wonderland Celebration. Many families came to take pictures with Santa Claus, enjoy food and drinks, arts and crafts, participate in raffles, and sing with Santa Claus. We want to thank everyone that supported and attended this event.
Today, we celebrated our parents that completed our first rotation of Vista Hill parenting classes for this school year. Each parent spent the last 10 week learning skills on how to be a better parent and on how to value their child's emotions. We are so proud of them! Special thanks goes to Vista Hill parenting class teacher, Vanessa Hernandez. Please contact our family liaison if you are interested in signing up for the next rotation of parenting classes beginning January 8th, 2025.

Today, we hosted a Stress Management and Create Your Own Calming Bottle Workshop alongside Vista Hill. We had an excellent discussion with parents about stress and we also heard their experiences about how stress affects them and the different stress management skills they use. Each parent also created a beautiful calming bottle by using items such as water, glitter, and clear glue. We had lots of fun! Please stay tuned for announcements from our Family Liaison regarding future workshops.
Hoy, organizamos un taller sobre cómo manejar el estrés y crear tu propia botella calmante junto con Vista Hill. Tuvimos una excelente conversación con los padres sobre el estrés y también escuchamos sus experiencias sobre cómo les afecta el estrés y las diferentes habilidades de manejo del estrés que utilizan. Cada padre también creó una hermosa botella calmante usando elementos como agua, brillantina y pegamento transparente. ¡Nos divertimos mucho!
