In celebrating Halloween, we want to remember the following guidelines to be able to wear your costume on campus:
No Blood
No amputated limbs/head or gore
No Weapons
No revealing costumes
*This is a family friendly event.
Students wear their costumes to school for the parade.Students must bring another set of clothes to wear to school for the rest of the day.
Parade will be held in the quad.
An alternate activity will be provided for students who do
not choose to participate in the MPR
Today our K- 5th grade students all had a chance to demonstrate their creative side at our Draw Along School Assembly. with Kyle Tiernan.

Join us as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month Sept 15 - Oct 15.
Every year we take time to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of the American Latino community.
Today our students were reminded that on 9/11/ 2001 there were many heroes who lost their lives to save others. Being a citizen of the community they were helping others. Just like you being a friend means you are helping others around you, be kind and show empathy that you care when you see a friend in need.

We had another busy week at Rock Springs. Our Roadrunners participated in for our first fire drill. We welcomed parents at Back to School Night, and Tie Dyed shirts with PTA. Classes have been taking time to learn what it is to be a Person of Character through Community Building Circles.
Come to back to school night and create and take tie-dye tshirts with your RockSprings PTA! 5pm-6:30pm in the quad.

Two opportunities to attend Back to School Night. Parents of students in 1st-5th grade can attend Thursday, August 24th at 5PM or 5:45PM. (TK, Kinder, and Special Education was held on 814)
Today our 4th and 5th grade students attended an introduction to Band. Fourth and fifth graders wanting to learn to play an instrument are encouraged to return a signed permission slip by September 1st. Classes will be held on Friday's during school hours.
Mark your calendars Roadrunners! Back to School night is Thursday, August 24! Join your student's classroom teacher from 5pm to 6:30 to learn all about the upcoming 2023-24 school year!
Come meet your child's TK or Kindergarten Teacher, visit the classroom, and introduce your child to their new classmates. Monday, August 14th, 3-4PM
Calling all Rock Springs Roadrunners! Parents, check your email for details on completing returning registration for all your EUSD students. This information can also be accessed on our EUSD website: https://www.eusd.org/page/registration-enrollment. For new students TK-5th, please use the New Student Enrollment link to enroll.
It is essential that all returning students register through our online registration process by 8/11 to be assigned a teacher for 23-24 school year.

Band Concert on May 15! Parents of band students can join our school performances! 8-8:30 am or 9:15-9:45 am.
Coaches and Runners enjoyed a beautiful 5K run this weekend along Mission Bay as they finished up with Rock Springs' running club: Girls on the Run! Girls on the Run promotes girl empowerment by building confidence, kindness and decision making skills.
